I was inspired by Deane's range of glaze colors from warm earth-toned neutral colors to the opposite extremes of rich, vibrant, and pale colors. I decided to add both of his glaze techniques in my teapot. I used a dripping effect to add the colors over the natural look of the red clay which I decide to leave unglazed for the more earthy look and feel. In order to add my unique touch I chose to create my own form and all the openings.
